ZEALOUSLY (3) led and proved too strong for subsequent stakes winner Bev's Nine in the Listed Gold Rush over this distance at Hawkesbury when fresh from a spell last start. Likely to lead again and is it is hard to make a case against him. HATCHET (4) has only put in one poor run in recent memory and that was at 1400m. Loves Doomben with seven wins here. Perfectly drawn and will be hard to hold out. HIDDEN WEALTH (1) led in an out-of-character role in the Listed ATC Trophy at the Gold Coast last time out and succumbed at the end of 1200m. Has won three from five at this stage of the prep and coming back in trip is a plus. Plenty of positives. SCAMPI (11) went for a bath in the betting and failed to run on over 1000m at Eagle Farm a fortnight ago. That was the first run for five weeks so worth another chance. FLYING DESTINY (8) takes on his stiffest test but the last three wins have all been full of merit.
