What is the Stake Ranked CS2 series?

The Stake Ranked CS2 series is our very own Counter-Strike 2 tournament. It began in April 2026 and is now into its second episode. It features open qualifiers, with teams able to enter regardless of ranking. By progressing through the qualifiers, teams advance to the LAN Finals.

The Finals of Stake Ranked is an A-tier tournament consisting of a double-elimination bracket. Matches during the tournament are played to the best of 3 games. By beating their opponents, teams advance, and the champions receive $25,000 in prize money.

When and where is the LAN Finals for Stake Ranked EP2 happening?

The LAN Finals for Stake Ranked Episode 2 will take place in Barcelona. The LAN tournament will be held between 27 and 30 May.

Which teams are participating in Stake Ranked EP2?

VRS invited teams

To take part in Stake Ranked EP2, teams either progress through qualifiers or receive an invite based on their Valve Regional Standings (VRS). The following teams were directly invited to the LAN Finals:

  • 9z Team - Argentinian Esports organisation competing in the region of South America. Recently finished 9th-12th at BLAST Open Spring 2026

  • HEROIC - Norwegian Esports team based in Oslo and competing in Europe. Finished 21st-24th at IEM Krakow 2026.

  • Alliance - Swedish Esports organisation competing in Europe.

  • 3DMAX - French Esports team that competes in Europe. Finished 9th-12th at IEM Rio 2026.

  • FaZe Clan - American Esports organisation competing in Europe. Finished 3rd-4th at BLAST Rivals Spring 2026.

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas - Swedish Esports team competing in Europe. Finished 17th-20th at IEM Krakow 2026

Teams invited from the closed qualifier

Portuguese Esports team Sharks Esports, competing in the region of South America, will enter the Finals having advanced through the closed qualifiers. They defeated Falcons Force, 33 and 100 Thieves to qualify for the Finals.

Magic is a Russian Esports team competing in the CIS region. They reached the playoffs stage, having beaten Tricked Esport, Eternal Fire and Gentle Mates during the closed qualifier.
