BEANCOUNTER (7) ran seventh last start at this track over 1720m, beaten 30 metres. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run but might need things to go his way at some stage. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. ITS DOWN TO DIGGER (8) settled close to the pace but didn't find enough in the end and could only manage ninth last start over 2260m at Bathurst, that effort coming after a solid third at Forbes the run before. Drawn to enjoy a nice run, with luck possibly playing a role at some point. Finds a tougher race but a return to form is not out of the question. GET UP BETTY (4) is a great chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid second at Parkes over 1660m. Hard to find fault. KADAR (6) is the best of the rest after finishing fifth over 1660m at Parkes last time out.
