Gets a soft run on the inside of the second line but may need luck at some point. Facing a tougher assignment but he is fitter and up to the task. SHOOBEES LOU (6) produced a strong performance last time when he battled on bravely to just miss out over 1740m at Riverina Paceway. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. COWBOY CULTURE (10) disappointed last time when seventh over 1730m at Bathurst. Can atone. XCALIBUR (4) cannot be ruled out after breaking his maiden status two weeks ago over 1720m at this track.
