BETTOR MAN (9) came from a similar barrier to this and suffered gear failure so did well to finish third last start at Maryborough. Broke in the previous outing but that followed a fresh win. Placed both times he has raced here. Big chance if things go his way. WHATS THE TEA (5) backs up after he broke when well in the market at Cranbourne on Sunday. Eases back a little in grade on recent attempts and if he performs up to the back-to-back placings he recorded last month he could win a race like this. MASSIF CENTRAL (4) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 1.4 metres at this venue, his second success from his last three outings. KALARNEY PRINCE (2) only missed narrowly last start and should get his chance from a favourable draw.
