Manners let DEEP LOVE (10) down when he started favourite last start but he has placed in a trial at Melton since. Fourth at Listed level two back and scored-back-to-back wins earlier in the campaign. Tricky draw but won his lone attempt at this distance and is good enough to win if he gets it right. MIDNITE MUSCLE (2) made it three placings in a row when he made up plenty of ground but found one better at Maryborough last time out. Looks close to a win and should have no excuses from this lower draw. SAMMY HALLER (5) added to his good form with a respectable second from the back row at his most recent appearance and he won at Melton the last time time he started on this line. ATTRACTED (1) has come from back row draws at his last couple but placed here three back and draws to advantage.
