There was merit in the resuming effort of IFYOULOVEMELETMEGO (1) when she raced parked but stuck on for a 2.4m fourth last week at Ballarat. Fitter for that and should have no excuses from the good draw. MIDNITE DESIRE (2) drew wider and raced parked but boxed on okay when midfield start. Put together a series of top-three finishes prior and has the benefit of a good draw. Leading hope. HOME AND DRY (3) draws well and is in the mix after working but boxing on for fourth at his most recent appearance at Melton. SHIRALEE (5) must be considered after she came from the back row and finished runner-up at Melton a week ago.
