He steps up to 1600m again, and is an obvious top 3 hope again. PORT CHALMER (1) has been a model of consistency with three straight minor placings, including another brave second last start at Waipukurau over 1600m. He maps to enjoy a perfect run on the fence and he is overdue to crack his maiden status. OFFERTORY (3) resumed with a solid effort at Waverley when showing early speed and fighting on well for second over 1400m 12 days ago. The extra 200m will suit him, and he should go close to taking this out. FAHALI (8) is a steadily improving 5YO gelding, who is not the worst at odds in this. Include. TICK TOCK TESSA (10) has a good draw, and she has to be respected after her last start second at Woodville.
