DEMON BLUE (7) was brave at his latest appearance at Menangle when he drew wide and raced parked but stuck on to be beaten just 2.3 metres. Recorded back-to-back city placings prior. Won the only time he attempted this circuit and distance so looks well placed. ALTA WILLIAM (10) is in good form and looks close to a win after placing in his last three appearances against handy opposition at Menangle. Draws on the back row but he is another that won the only time he raced at this circuit and distance. BLACK ONYX (2) draws well and is heading the right way, improving last time out when he led and boxed on to finish third at Penrith. CHICAGO BART (9) draws for a trail and and did a good job to come from a wide barrier and win in the city last time out.
