GORGEOUS DUDE (6) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1400m at Greyville, finishing third and beaten 1.1 lengths. Back in trip but back in class and plummets in the weights. Placed both runs this time in and gets chance to find winning form. DEFINITELY YES (11) turned in a good effort when narrowly defeated last time at Scottsville over 1200m. Should be in the finish again. MUSIC IS LIFE (5) resumes in a similar race to his only run last prep back on March 8 when fifth, beaten 6 lengths. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. L'ULTIMO (1) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when fifth over 1400m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
