MAALIS SONG (2) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1400m at Ascot after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. KARNUP QUEEN (16) put the writing on the wall last time when a close second at Ascot over 1400m. Settles back early but winds up late. Watch for a big run. THINK PINK DAZE (15) produced a reasonable effort when fourth last start over 1400m at Ascot. That followed a win at Pinjarra Scarpside the start prior. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
