BOSS 'N' HIGHHEELS (3) was below her best last start at Riccarton Park when finishing seventh, off a tough draw over 1200m. She drops into a more suitable race here and she maps to receive a much softer trip this time. Hard to beat. MAWKEB (7) returns from a 10-week break but has shown she can go well fresh when trained in Australia, and when placing fresh up here in January. She revels in the wet, and she can give this a shake. BAKERS DOZEN (5) produced a strong finish last start at Riverton, coming from well back to score over 1200m. She usually races handier than that, so with another strong to her bow, she can repeat the dose. EYE SPY (1) continues to race consistently, following a Riverton win with a solid third placing here last time out. She likes it here, and she can produce another honest run. LEEDOX (8) showed up fresh in September, and a wet track is what he needs. His stable is in form, and he will be hard to hold out.
