PRINCE OF DALA (3) gets the nod in the last on the back of a strong win on debut on the Scarpside circuit here. The wide draw is a niggle, but he looks to have plenty of ability and he looks well suited up in distance. Can go on with the job. DARK AMBITION (2) won well fresh before tackling Derby lead-ups at Ascot where he never really featured. Back to an easier race today suits, as does dropping back to this distance range. CJP rides now and he can turn his recent form right around. JOYOH (8) is hard to knock on recent form, just missing as a $1.75 favourite two back before a solid performance over 1500m on the Scarpside most recently. Should lob in a handy position and be poised to strike if good enough. ALCABEEL (5) trialled well coming into this off a year-long break and can feature from the inside barrier in his WA debut. TRAILER TRUCK (4) is next best.
