Even race but EMANATING (8) looks well placed after the last couple in richer maidens at Pakenham. Placed there two back then stepped to a mile latest and got home to finish sixth. Suited here and gets a chance. RAGHNALL (6) has placed at both runs this time in. Beaten just a neck last time and looks ready to go one better. ROYAL BUSINESS (7) turned in a much better run at his second appearance last time out when 2.75 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1500m at Mornington. Can improve further and should be in the finish. PHANTOM'S CHASE (5) tracked the speed and fought on well fresh to finish fifth at Werribee and not beaten far. Expected to be much better for it. CHRONIC (1) is overdue and with the blinkers added looks one of the chances.
