SIMURGH (13) looks hard to beat having run very well at his Australian debut, charging home for second at Pakenham to grab second over 1600m. Straight to 2000m suits this lightly raced import and he draws well for Williams on 54kg. DREAMS COME TRUE (5) is the danger. Two runs back at 1600m have been good, looking in need of more ground last time which she gets here. She'll be charging home late third up. BOLD STRIKE (9) has been very impressive his past couple, bolting in over this trip at Ballarat last time out. He looks right up to this grade on what we've seen in recent efforts and it wouldn't surprise to see him bring up the hat-trick. CURSE IT (7) is better than he showed last time out and can bounce back to form.
