THE CAPTAINESS (1) is a newcomer to the Ryan Hryhorec stable from NSW. Hasn't raced for 11 months but looks to be right up to the mark following a placing in a recent trial. Should enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position so expecting a bright start in SA. HIGHWAY HUSTLER (3) led and stuck on okay when fourth last start at Globe Derby. Placed in her other two starts including a nose second the only time she raced here. Draws well so can be prominent. ICE QUEEN (8) has changed yards since last seen in Victoria in August 2024. Draws on the back row but watch the betting. SAL WESTER (7) draws for a trail and hasn't been too far off the placings in her two starts so far.
