LOWER WEST SIDE (1) put the writing on the wall when runner-up two back then improved last start to win a maiden at Ballarat, leading from this barrier and going on to score by 2.4 metres. Has upside and should have no excuses from another advantageous draw so could go on with it. LITTLE WONDER (9) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 3.6 metres from the winner in third, giving her a win and two placings from her last three starts. Can travel in a nice spot from this draw and wait on the sprint lane if necessary. Could strike again. LITTLE SASSY BOY (5) will be fitter after finishing runner-up when resuming at Young last time out. Draws wider but won over this distance in his only other start so has upside. ROLLONART (6) was well fancied when she led and faded in Victoria last start but was a debut winner at Coolamon prior so may be worth another chance.
