Introduction to Counter-Strike 2 BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 Betting

The BLAST Bounty is a Tier 1 Counter-Strike tournament organised by BLAST and part of the BLAST Premier series. 32 teams take part in closed qualifiers for a chance to make the final 8. Aside from the prize money available to the champions, teams can also earn bounties by defeating opponents. Higher seeds are worth more prize money, further incentivising success and leading to more exciting matches. When a team wins a match against an opponent with a bounty, they receive half the bounty as prize money, while the other half is added to their own bounty.

When is BLAST Bounty Winter 2026?

The BLAST Bounty Winter tournament starts on 13 January and ends on 25 January. Malta Studio in Malta will host the finals of the event held in the BLAST Arena Studios.

History of the BLAST Premier Series

BLAST launched the BLAST Premier Series in 2020 as a successor to the BLAST Pro Series, which ran between 20217 and 2019. The initial BLAST Premier format included groups and finals in Spring and Fall, followed by a World Final for the best teams.

In 2023, BLAST held its first CS2 Major: BLAST.tv Paris Major, while the BLAST.tv Austin Major was held in 2025.

2025 also saw the launch of the new Bounty tournament. BLAST Bounty Season 1 was held in January as teams competed for a share of the $500,000 prize pool, and Team Spirit were crowned champions.

Format and Schedule of the BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 Tournament

The closed qualifiers online stage for the BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 tournament begins on 13 January. Teams play through a single-elimination bracket, with matches that are played to the best of 3 games. At the end of the qualifiers, the top 9 teams progress to the final playoffs.

The Malta LAN finals playoffs take place between 22 and 25 January and also use a single-elimination format, with quarterfinal and semifinal matches played to the best of 3 games. The Grand Final is played to the best of 5 games.
