Serghei Spivac is the number-3 ranked heavyweight fighter in the UFC, with a 17-6 professional MMA record including 8 wins and 6 losses in the UFC. Despite being ranked so highly, Spivac has lost his last 2 fights. The first of these was a TKO from Jaiton Almeida, before he lost a unanimous decision to Waldo Cortes-Acosta. Spivac has a good finish rate, with 3 KO/TKO wins and 3 submission wins in the UFC.
Ante Delija
Delija arrived in the UFC in 2025 as a PFL tournament winner and won his first fight against Marcin Tybura before losing his next fight against Waldo Cortes-Acosta. His professional MMA record now stands at 27-7, with 1 loss and 1 win in the UFC. Over the course of his career, 46% of his wins have come by way of KO/TKO, while 27% have been by submission. Delija is currently ranked 9th in the UFC heavyweight division.

While Strickland is a step up in competition from his last few fights, he’s earned it based on recent performances and has a great opportunity to secure his place in the top 3 rankings. However, Strickland has great takedown defence, which could be a good test of Hernandez’ striking.

Spivac lost his last 2 fights, but he’s still among the best fighters in the heavyweight division, with wins over Derrick Lewis and Marcin Tybura. He has excellent grappling skills, which make him very dangerous, with the ability to submit his opponents or stop them with ground and pound. Most of his losses have only been to the very best fighters in the division, such as current champion Tom Asplinall.
Delija is relatively new to the UFC but previously had some great performances in other promotions, including winning the PFL heavyweight tournament. He won his UFC debut in impressive fashion, stopping Marcin Tybura in the first round. However, he was finished in the first round in his next fight. Both fighters lost their last fight to Waldo Cortes-Acosta, but Spivac looked better in his loss, so he’s likely to be the UFC odds betting favourite.
