Rainbow Six Siege X, known simply as Siege, is a tactical first-person shooter (FPS) game developed and published by Ubisoft. 2 teams of 5 players compete across multiple rounds, taking turns to either attack or defend the objective. When is the Six Invitational 2026 Tournament?
The 2026 Six Invitational begins on 2 February and ends on 15 February. It’s held at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France.
History of the Six Invitational
Rainbow Six Siege launched on PS4, Windows and Xbox One in 2015. The game was developed with Esports in mind and inspired by games like Dota 2, and the first-ever Six Invitational was held in 2017, offering a $100,000 prize pool. Since then, the tournament has been held every year, while prize pools have grown significantly. The first Six Invitational event featured just 6 teams, while this was increased to 16 in 2019 and then expanded again to 20 in 2021.

Format and Schedule of Six Invitational 2026
2-6 February - Group Stage
Teams are divided into 4 groups of 5, and each team plays each of their group opponents once. Matches during this stage are played to the best of 3 games. Points are awarded based on results, with 4 points for a 2:0 win, 3 points for a 2:1 win, 1 point for a 1:2 loss and 0 points for a 0:2 loss.
The 1st-placed team from each group will advance to the upper bracket round 2 of the playoffs.
2nd and 3rd-placed teams advance to the upper bracket round 1 of the playoffs. The 2nd-place team gets to choose their first opponent for the playoffs from any 3rd-place team other than the one they already played in the group stage.
4th placed teams advance to the lower bracket of the playoff round, while the bottom team is eliminated.
8-15 February - Playoffs
The close-door playoffs begin on 8 February, before the fans get to enjoy the action live at the Adidas Arena from 13 February.
This stage uses a double-elimination bracket, and all matches except for the Grand Final are played to the best of 3 games. The Grand Final is played in a best-of-5 series, with no map advantage.
