ATP Tour 2026 - Men's Tennis Betting Odds, Tips & Free Live Stream
The ATP – Association of Tennis Professionals – is the men’s governing body of tennis. The body runs the ATP Tour, where the best players in the world compete every week for the biggest prizes in the sport.
Read on to find out how to bet on the ATP Tour, get all the tennis betting tips, and learn more about the history of the games before you get started here at Stake Sportsbook.
Introduction to the ATP Tour
The Tour was established in September 1972, and it celebrated its fiftieth anniversary throughout the 2022 season, cementing its place as the undisputed leading tennis tour in the world.
The Tour itself is split into various categories – the Grand Slams, ATP Finals, ATP Tour Masters 1,000, ATP Tour 500, ATP Tour 250, and the ATP Challenger Tour.
2025 ATP Tour Recap
The ATP Tour’s 2025 was a brilliant year for tennis. It firmly established that a new, young dynasty of players were emerging that could compete with previous rivalries between the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Andy Murray.
Only two players came out as winners in the year’s Grand Slams, with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz each claiming two apiece. The former appeared in every single final, and there was only one other finalist other than those two - Alexander Zverev, who was defeated by Sinner at the Aussie Open.
The Italian would also win Wimbledon, while Alcaraz would come away with trophies from Roland Garros and the US Open. It meant that the young Spaniard ended the year as number one in the rankings, player of the year, player with the most titles and finals, and the player with the most prize money.
The French Open final between these two superstars was voted the best Grand Slam match of 2025 by ATPTour.com, while Djokovic’s comeback defeat of Lorenzo Musetti at the Hellenic Championship was the best match on the Tour. The Serb would also become the oldest man to reach all four Slam semifinals in one year.
To round off the season, the 2025 ATP Finals pitted the two new stars of tennis against one another yet again. Sinner won, once again, but it was not enough for him to reclaim the top ranking spot that he had forfeited in New York in September.
Major 2026 ATP Tennis Tournaments
In total, 64 tennis tournaments in 31 countries make up the ATP Tour. Of course, the Grand Slams are the biggest events in tennis, namely the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open.
Aside from the Grand Slam events, here are just a handful of the major events that you will want to add to your calendar for 2026:
Qatar Open - ATP 500 - February
Indian Wells Open - ATP Masters1000 - March
Cincinnati Open - ATP Masters 1000 - August
Shanghai Masters - ATP 1000 - October
ATP Finals - November
Davis Cup Finals - November
Events & Formats on the ATP Tour
Aside from the Grand Slams, which are the most prestigious events on the circuit, there are a number of other competition types that provide ranking points for players, as well as exciting action for fans of the sport.
The main event types - in order of ranking points on offer - are the ATP Finals, followed by the ATP Masters 1000, Masters 500, and Masters 250. These tournaments are mostly straight knockouts, with the exception of the ATP Finals, which includes a round robin group section.
The Davis Cup is the premier international team event, in a similar round robin and knockout hybrid vein to the FIFA World Cup, and in recent years it has been dominated by an Italian side that has included Jannik Sinner as its figurehead.
