NITTO ATLAS (12) returned last time with a solid third at Funabashi over 1200m. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to make a big impact. NEW DIVIDE (10) made progress last time out, finishing third at the end of 2000m at Urawa. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. G T RAPID (14) finished fifth over 1400m at this track last time out after a gutsy win when resuming from a spell two runs back. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Should give backers a sight.
