Cage Warriors Betting Odds & Best Lines - Bet on Cage Warriors Online
Cage Warriors is home to some of the UK and Ireland’s best MMA talent, and it's produced many stars of the sport over the years, including the Notorious Conor McGregor. You can bet on the MMA action inside the cage right here at Stake Sportsbook.
What is Cage Warriors?
Cage Warriors is an Irish-owned mixed martial arts promotion which is based in London, England. Like the UFC and other MMA promotions, it hosts events featuring top-level fighters who compete in different weight categories. The best fighters in each division go head-to-head, with the winners increasing their rankings and getting to fight for the title.
History of the Cage Warriors
Cage Warriors first began in 2001, making it Europe’s longest-running mixed martial arts promotion. Inspired by the rise of the UFC, MMA enthusiast Dougie Truman founded Cage Warriors, and its first event was held at York Hall on 27 July 2002.
The promotion remained relatively under the radar until it was acquired by businessman Graham Boylan in 2010. Thanks to the work of Boylan and matchmaker Ian Dean, the promotion quickly grew, expanding its presence across Europe as it held its first international events.
Although Cage Warriors closed in 2015 following the resignation of Boylan in 2014, it would not be for long. Boyland returned to the promotion in 2016 as Cage Warriors signed broadcast deals with BT Sport and UFC Fight Pass.
This year, Cage Warriors will hold its 200th event, and it continues to be the biggest presence in British and Irish MMA. Aside from McGregor, the promotion has also helped develop major talents such as former middleweight champion Michael Bisping and lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett.
Format & Schedule of Cage Warriors
Today, Cage Warriors holds multiple shows each year, often travelling to other countries across Europe, North America and the Middle East. Much like other promotions, it holds MMA fights using the unified ruleset.
Standard fights use three, five-minute rounds, while title fights are five rounds. Fighters can win by knocking out their opponent or preventing them from being able to fight due to injury or submission. Referees can also step in to stop the action and protect a fighter, leading to a TKO finish. If the fight goes the full distance, it’s decided by the judges’ scorecards, which score each round using the 10-point must system. Rounds are judged on damage, effective striking, control time and aggression.

Cage Warriors Betting Odds & Payouts
Before you place your first Cage Warriors bets, you should understand how odds work and how to calculate your payouts. Remember that although higher odds mean a higher potential payout, they also suggest that the outcome is less likely to occur. This creates greater risk, and it’s important to manage this risk each time you bet. You should also compare odds before placing your bets to ensure you’re getting the best value. To make things easier for you to understand the odds and calculate payouts, you can switch the odds format between decimal, fractional and American.
Cage Warriors & MMA Betting Tips, Predictions & Strategies
Styles make fights – An important concept to remember whenever you bet on MMA is that some styles match up better against certain styles than others. For example, a pure wrestler might struggle to strike effectively but will beat anyone who struggles to defend takedowns. Be mindful of each fighter’s style and how it could affect the matchup.
Research your betting decisions – Aside from looking at the styles of the fighters, you should also be studying all the available data and statistics on each fighter. Look at their current record, recent fights and the quality of their opponents. You can also watch some Cage Warriors fights online to see how they’ve performed.
Manage your bankroll – Although there are a lot of fights to bet on at every Cage Warriors event, it’s important not to get carried away. Parlays can be fun, but you should be careful to manage your risk when looking for betting opportunities. In addition, be mindful of your bankroll and use a betting system if it helps.
