Siding with the newcomer CHERRY HILLS (1) in the opener, a filly by Shamus Award for the Hayes yard who kicks off here with Luke Currie in the saddle. She's had a good grounding for this, winning a 1400m trial and a jumpout in good style. She looks to have plenty of ability and can make a winning debut. ZEPHYR SONG (8) is the one with runs on the board, battling fairly well at Kyneton last time when in the market having been off a let-up into that run. She can strip fitter and be in this a long way. FAITH IN ZADAR (2) has been good in two runs back in what should be decent maiden form lines. She should be peaking now to 1300m. GOODNESS (4) is a filly by Unusual Suspect on debut for the Freedman yard who should be respected while HILILY HILILY HILO (5) is a Highland Reel filly who has jumped out quite well for the local yard and can figure.
