ELEGANT STRIDE (4) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling when 6 metres from the winner in fifth in a stronger race here last Saturday. Came from a wider barrier than this to place prior and recorded back-to-back Penrith wins last month. Looks well placed. WHERE BACK (8) has been racing against stronger opposition since she scored a win at Goulburn four starts back so will enjoy the class drop. EYEKNOW (3) didn't do a bad job when fourth after working from a wider barrier last time out, adding to a series of solid efforts. BETTINE (7) draws for a trail and could be in the finish.
