LE TROISIR (6) has only won one of 10 starts, but will find this much more to his liking than recent runs. Drops back from a BM74 at Bendigo on Golden Mile when beaten less than a length. That followed a good run in midweek grade at Sandown and even though he's deep into the prep now he deserves to be considered the testing material. Main danger looks to be CHOCOLATE ROYAL (3), who is also dropping in grade, having finished down the track at Listed level in Adelaide. Placed in stronger races than this the two runs prior. Draws better than Le Troisir and the 3kg claim helps. ZIBULON (7) was down the track in a handy race at Warrnambool last time, which was his first run off a freshen so he'll take fitness benefit from that. JENNY THE BEAVER (12) has placed in both runs this prep, which should have her ready for this trip. THURMOND (4) was woeful first-up and is probably bound for the jumps but has won second-up previously.
