GINA'S A STAR (10) has placed only once from four starts to date, but the two jumpouts this time in suggest she has benefitted from those campaigns to date and is starting to mature. She's looked to have a fair bit in hand in both wins, at Camperdown and Ararat, and if the stable elects to run here from the wide draw it'll be a good pointer to the fact they think they've found the right first-up option. MAGNUS MAXIMUS (7) is also drawn out but there was a lot to like about the way he hit the line first-up, when specked at nice odds. TOBEYEUS (9) has been to the jumpouts twice since the latest run, back on April 22, and won twice so he warrants respect on the home track and is drawn out with some of the other key chances. PARAMOUNT PLUS (8) is hard to come into off the form late last prep, or the two jumpouts this time in, but his best efforts to date have been early in the campaign. DAGGER ONE (1) was an improver at start No 2 and can go on with it.
