MASTER TAJ (5) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing half a length from the winner in second over 1000m at Ballarat. Can only be better for that but the one knock here is the outside draw. BOA VISTA (7) was a $1.25m yearling who failed to live up to expectations with the Price/Kent stable and now finds herself with Patrick Kearney. He's a trainer making his name for turning horses around, so the daughter of Snitzel might be worth one last chance in this suitable contest. JACK THE JUDGE (4) stuck on well last start to finish third over 1000m at Mornington after showing good early speed. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. IMMORTAL TRIUMPH (3) comes through the same race as Master Taj, and while beaten more than 3 lengths by that galloper, it was the best run of his career and he might now be poised to go on with it. MISTY WHISPER (6) was beaten a long way on debut, but it was by a smart one and experience on this track could be important.
