KAZOOM (3) pushed forward last time and battled on gamely to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 1006m at Hawthorne (Dirt). Looks well placed so expect another bold performance. CAPOVIVO (2) is a well-related three-year-old gelding on debut. By Constitution from the former top race mare Merry Meadow who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Promising type who looks set to play a big role. CHIEF MORTER (4) is back from a spell of ten months. Debuted with a third, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 905m at Hawthorne at his only appearance to date. Strong top-three chance. ROCKFEST (6) finished 9 lengths from the winner in fourth at his most recent outing over 1006m at Hawthorne (Dirt) after he was well back on straightening. Appeals as a top-four contender.
