PAW AMALFI (1) was safely held last time out, finishing eighth at Sale over 435m behind Paw Elodee (25.20) in a Grade 5. Was in the money the start prior. Goes very well from this draw with three wins and three minor placings from seven starts. Key runner on best form. DOLLAR BUCKS (3) stalked the lead from a low draw and fought on well to finish 1.2 lengths back in second (22.17) at Warrnambool in a Grade 5 over 390m. Recorded one of the quickest times on the card last start despite being beaten. Must be included in calculations. SPRING LASSEN (5) was out of the money here last time out but can bounce back.
