KIANI STAR (4) slotted in just off the lead from the wide box before lifting strongly to score (22.77) at Geelong in Grade 5 over 400m. Deserves serious consideration again. SUMO SMASH (1) has been settling off the speed lately, finishing fifth (22.58) last time in a Grade 4/5 at this track. Solid record here winning six races. Comes through a solid form race last start. Has ability and can atone. ASTON FLAMENCO (7) missed the placings here most recently but can sneak into the finish with the right run.
