MAD HATTER ROSE (5) is a capable type and proved too strong last time to win by 1.5 lengths at Traralgon in a handy 24.32 beating Paw Gamma. One of main contenders. AKINA JOHNNY (1) started big odds last time where he hit the ground running and was never headed, leading throughout to win by 0.8 lengths over 435, at Sale (24.55). Has never missed the frame here from three starts. Expecting another bold showing. I'M EASY (2) is always a threat when he draws this box.
