JEEWAN (3) failed to threaten when fresh from a spell last time out, beaten 13 lengths into fifth over 1600m at Wolverhampton. George Bass is back on and has a solid record on the 10-year-old, including two wins. Fitter and expected to run well. AL SHARID (2) started at big odds on debut last start but ran a bold race, finishing second and beaten 3 lengths over 1600m at Wolverhampton. Open to plenty of improvement.
