SEMELLE ROUGE (5) is a lightly raced filly much better than form looks. Has tackled much tougher grade including Stakes class but resumes here after a break well back in grade and on the back of some good jump-outs. Expected to go close this company. STEWART (11) has won two of his last five. Won at Werribee two back then was not far away when fifth latest here over 1100m. Close to the winner and drawn to feature again. FLAT CHAT (6) is a lightly raced mare with some good form and did win here when last resuming. Low draw and can feature in the finish if on song. TORVEGA (10) placed 2/2 when fresh and did win only try here. One of the main hopes. LAKE GILLEAR (3) has been well beaten in his last two but can improve sharply.
