ROSSAVEAL (3) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 17 lengths starting at $2.30. Nicely placed to make amends. STRAIGHT (9) booted up from the inside draw to lead last start and went on to score by 2.5 lengths at Mizusawa over 1300m. Form over this course and distance is solid with a win and two minor placings from four starts. Can figure in the outcome.
