Moderate race. LITTLEBLACKGEM (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 2.5 lengths away in fifth over 1200m at this track. Thereabouts without winning. Best form measures up and looks hard to beat here. POETIC PRINCESS (1) improved sharply on her seventh two starts back at Scottsville with a win over 1200m at Greyville three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Likely to be there at the finish again. BLIND SPEED (9) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.75 lengths over 1200m at Greyville. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. PRINCESS GOLDIE (2) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on February 27, finishing ninth and beaten 14 lengths over 1400m at this track. Makes plenty of appeal.
