AMLETO (5) looks nicely placed here. His first up run at Warrnambool was very good, just missing by the barest of margins under 61kg. He should be fitter for that and gets in nicely dropping 4kg into this. Up to 2000m suits nicely and he'll be very hard to hold out. OAK BEACH (9) presents third up and ready to peak. Two runs back have been good, working home well for a narrow sixth at Bendigo last start over 1600m. She gets to her right trip now and a peak performance looks likely. JAYKAYANN (1) was a narrow winner on resumption over this route, tough under the 62kg there. She'll want the track to remain soft and can make it a double if so. ARISTONOUS (6) found the right race last time and proved too strong over this route. Turns around quickly and can win again. MY ROCA FELLA (8) won one of these heats last time and will take catching from the inside gate.
