TRUTH SEEKER (7) was kept safe in betting at Ballarat on debut, doing a bit wrong but working home fairly for a solid fifth. Suspect he'll learn plenty from that and the rise to 1600m should suit. TAGALAON (6) made nice improvement at his second start, bumping into a smart winner here last time out but working home well for second. He's drawn to get back but will be hard to hold out. BRIGHTHILL (1) ran a solid race on debut at Ararat, sticking on well for a narrow fifth. He gets every chance from the draw and can figure. COLOUR CIRCLE (2) hasn't managed a place in 8 starts to date but wasn't far away last time and can sneak into the finish. WHO'LLSTOPLORRAINE (13) had excuses last time. The run prior reads well for this.
