LA BARRITA (10) brings Sydney form to a moderate maiden. Debuted as favourite over 1000m at Warwick Farm and really caught the eye in the final stages, coming from next to last on the bend to be beaten half a length. Big chance to go a couple better over this longer trip. DISPARATE (4) had every chance but was pretty feeble in the closing stages when fresh from a spell over 1200m at Ipswich last time out. Well backed on that occasion so worth another chance coming back to 1100m. PARADING GUS (3) worked home well but was no match for a dominant winner when resuming over 1000m at Eagle Farm recently. Nicely drawn and should be even more effective over the extra 100m today. IMZADA (9) is back from a five-month spell and has transferred to the James Healy stable. Yet to show much in five starts but any market moves should be respected. OUR GIRL SCARLETT (8) returned in good order at Eagle Farm last time out and will be better for that run.
