Nicely placed to go a couple better. MEINER LA GEMME (5) struggled in a far tougher race two back but last time did much better in more suitable company when third at this track. Finds a similar assignment and is expected to run well again. PRECIOUS NOIR (3) is a six-start maiden who could only manage to finish tenth at her latest appearance over 1500m at this track after she got a long way back in the run. Solid top-three chance on her best figures. WILD CHAMOMILE (8) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 920m at this track. This looks a good race for her and she is one of the key runners.
