HUNTER SHANNON (3) led from a wider barrier last time out and scored at this venue, getting home by 5.3 metres. That followed an encouraging minor placing here the start prior. Likely to push forward again so could go back to back. BETTING RANGER (6) will find this easier than his last attempt in the Regional Championships State Final at Menangle. Recorded a win and a second in his previous two starts here so is worth another chance. CHICAGO BART (4) found winning form two back at Menangle then finished runner-up in a higher-graded race here a week ago. This suits.
