WTA French Open Women's Singles 2026 - Roland Garros Outrights Betting, Odds & Live Stream
France is a country of many things. In particular, food, wine, and romance. However, every year, for a week or two, it becomes the center of the tennis world with the French Open. It is one of the four Grand Slams of both the WTA and ATP Tours, the competition every star is dreaming of winning.
We’ll take a deep dive into the women’s French Open singles, the betting opportunities, early French Open picks, and how to bet on tennis at Stake Sportsbook.
When & Where is the 2026 WTA French Open Women's Singles Event?
The singles for both categories will begin with the first round on May 24, and the women’s French Open final will take place on June 6. The men’s final will take place the following day. The competition will take place in Paris at the clay courts venue, Roland Garros.
Who is Playing in the WTA French Open Women's Singles?
All of the most famous names will be itching to be on the way to France when May comes around, and only the very best will certainly be there. The top 102 players in the WTA Tour rankings will qualify automatically, so players will be looking to win WTA 1000 events to rack up points. At the time of writing, the following players are the current top 10:
Aryna Sabalenka
Iga Świątek
Elana Rybakina
Coco Gauff
Jessicca Pegula
Amanda Anisimova
Jasmine Paolini
Mirra Andreeva
Elina Svitolina
Victoria Mboko
Coco Gauff may currently be fourth in the rankings, but she is the holder of the French Open after she defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the 2025 final. Those two will be looking to go far again, especially as the latter also won the US Open, and they will likely feature at the business end of the tournament.
Sabalenka was a losing finalist on two occasions in 2025, losing to Madison Keys in the Australian Open final. Keys is outside of the top 10 at present, but will certainly be expected to qualify.
Before the main tournament bracket gets underway, there will be a week of qualifying, in which players who missed out on an automatic bye will face off against each other in the hopes of securing a place in the competition proper.
Will Sabalenka, who has yet to win, join the likes of Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Ashleigh Barty, Svetlana Kuznetsova, and Anna Ivanovic, though? Or will it be her fellow Belarusian, Victoria Azarenka? It looks like it will be a competitive crowd in 2026.
