The Stake Ranked tournament is our very own Counter-Strike 2 series, featuring top teams from all over the world. It’s co-organized by StarLadder and proudly sponsored by Stake. A $100,000 prize pool is available to be won, with teams entering the finals through two separate qualifying brackets. Over 50 teams will compete in the event, but only 8 will make the playoffs. Stake Ranked EP2 final location and tournament schedule
The LAN Finals take place in Barcelona, Spain between 27-30 May. A total of 8 teams will compete across a double-elimination bracket, where matches are played to the best of 3 games.
Which teams will be participating in Stake Ranked EP2 finals?
Shark Esports and magic qualified for the Episode 2 finals by way of the closed qualifiers. Shark Esports beat Falcons Force, 33 and 100 Thieves to reach the Finals. Meanwhile, magic beat Tricked Esport, Eternal Fire, and Gentle Mates.
The 2 teams that qualified through the closed qualifiers are joined by 6 other teams, which are invited based on their VRS global ranking. These are 9z Team, HEROIC, Alliance, 3DMAX, FaZe Clan, and Ninjas in Pyjamas.
Stake Ranked EP2 final winner predictions
FaZe Clan is our pick to win Episode 2 of the Stake Ranked series. The American Esports team recently finished 3rd-4th at BLAST Rivals Spring 2026, an S-tier tournament. What’s more, they finished as runners-up at the StarLadder Budapest Major in 2025. They have had some high-level finishes at recent S-tier tournaments, with wins over top teams. As a result, they have a good chance of winning an A-tier tournament.
Looking at key map stats, FaZe Clan has its best map win rates on Ancient (59.5%) and Inferno (59.1%). However, the team has played the most games on Mirage. Its highest ban percentage of maps in the Stake Ranked map pool is on Overpass (30.2%).
HEROIC also has a great chance of winning the Stake Ranked Episode 2 tournament. This Norwegian Esports team came 4th in Episode 1 and has had good success at A and B-tier tournaments recently.
We won’t be overlooking 3DMAX at Episode 2 of Stake Ranked either. The team recently finished 9th-12th at IEM Rio 2026, showing their ability to beat top teams in LAN tournaments. In addition, the finished 4th at the A-tier PGL Bucharest 2026.
