The fight headlines UFC 329 on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The card closes out International Fight Week, the UFC's biggest annual celebration in its home city. Paddy Pimblett vs Benoit Saint-Denis is also a highly anticipated fight to be on the undercard, with more fights expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
McGregor has not fought since UFC 264 in July 2021, when he broke his leg against Dustin Poirier. McGregor has since spent the last several years teasing a return but has yet to make a comeback till now.
Holloway is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 326 in March, where he surrendered the BMF title. He has been open about wanting to settle scores with everyone who has beaten him and McGregor sits at the top of that list.
